“Yadah”
It’s a Hebrew verb that means "to throw, extend or lift hands in thanksgiving and praise". It's a gesture that we’d usually or unconsciously do whenever we’re amazed, excited or happy; and we want to fully express the feeling in that moment (just like when you marvel at a magnificent view, or when you wow at a winning experience, or when you are in awe in worship, you’re compelled to lift your hands because you couldn’t contain the feeling). “Eventually it also came to denote songs of praise - to lift up the voice in thanksgiving, to tell forth and confess His greatness.” (Source: https://findwords.info/term/yadah)
That's what my art (and hopefully, soon, music) is about. An expression. A reminder. To capture what I value and feel. To share faith, hope and love. To point me (and others) to God. Worship.
No matter how small or big, simple or colorful, in any way possible, I hope my art would speak to your heart.

Hi! I’m Andrei Solmirano and I’m a self-taught artist. Prior to “Yadah Art & Music”, for years I’ve worked as a Customer Service Representative, Process Trainer, Voice and Accent Trainer, and Team Leader in the BPO industry for almost 8 years. I also freelanced as a speaker for an advertising agency and as a session vocalist to different bands. Lastly, I worked as an Administrative Coordinator for almost 5 years for music production.
As the artist behind “Yadah Art & Music”, I sell original paintings, do commissioned works, and teach painting classes. I am excited to create more and variable content and to be more involved in the art community in the coming years. And gradually, I would love to sing again (I’m on the road to recuperating my vocal cords).
I love pink. I love dogs. I love pizza. I love unhurried mornings with coffee and my journal. I love staycations, lounging and the beach. I love Disney and dreamed of becoming a Disney princess. I love worship music.
I am a thriving Christian artist. And I’m a Daughter of the King.
