Her Spring Awakening

HER SPRING AWAKENING

For a long time, she felt like the cold of winter had settled in her heart. The weight of the past, the hardships she had endured, and the mistakes she carried all seemed to keep her trapped in a season of stillness. She had longed for change, for something new, but the cycle of seasons in her life had left her feeling dry, weary, and distant from the joy she once knew. Then came the spring—quietly, gently, as though in answer to her heart’s unspoken cry. She watched as the world around her came alive, with flowers blooming in every hue, each one signaling a fresh start. The season of rebirth, of growth, was here. She remembered the words of Scripture:
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” — 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NIV)

With each blooming flower, she felt more alive. In Christ, renewal wasn’t just a hope—it was her reality. Like spring ending winter’s grasp, Christ had broken the chains of her past, bringing a new season of growth, joy, and hope. Her rebirth wasn’t just possible; it was already happening.
