She didn’t always feel bright. There were days her heart felt like a dim room, shadowed by heaviness she couldn’t name. But even in that stillness, something gentle remained — a quiet kind of light, soft like pastel petals pressed against the dark. It didn’t shout or dazzle. It simply stayed.
She began to see that this was grace — not loud, but unwavering. That God’s presence doesn’t always come with lightning, but with peace that settles like morning light. In her most fragile seasons, He was still shining. And that was enough.
